Exercising often feels like a chore. From finding the time to go to the gym, feeling comfortable while you are there, and finding a satisfying workout in, it is easy to become frustrated with working out. Not to mention, doing the same workout routine over and over again.

Whether you’re new to the gym, wanting a change in your workout routine, or don’t have much fitness knowledge, group fitness classes may be the solution. Joining a group fitness class can help establish a foundation and structure that can fuel your personal fitness journey for years to come.

At JabX Kickboxing in West Hollywood, our kickboxing classes are a new way of getting both the strength endurance gains of long workout sessions at the gym and the body toning of a cardio workout. Just like group fitness classes, our group kickboxing benefits offer a slew of benefits. In this blog, we are going to share six reasons you should give our group kickboxing classes a try.

Finding the motivation to exercise is hard enough. Staying motivated to make it through an entire workout is a completely different story. When you are surrounded by a group of like-minded, dedicated individual workouts are more inspiring and motivating. It doesn’t get much more empowering than a class with an encouraging kickboxing instructor and a group of people who are all working hard punching, kicking, elbowing, and kneeing together!

Our group kickboxing classes are a great way to get a solid workout in without having to think or plan a routine. Each of our kickboxing classes is structured with a warm-up, a fun, fast-paced, and challenging workout, followed by a cool down. The warm-up is designed to help properly increase your heart rate, loosen joints and muscles, and minimize the risk of potential injuries before jumping into the strenuous activity of the class. Then our kickboxing instructors will coach you through each segment of the workout. Having an instructor guide you through the class, pushing your limits in ways that will benefit your body. The cooldown will help you safely lower your heart rate and stretching all the muscles that were worked during the kickboxing class.

Proper Form

It is the kickboxing instructors job to not only teach proper jabbing and kicking form but to also make sure that everyone in the group is executing each movement correctly to get the most out of the workout. Proper form will help optimize your workout and helps you avoid any potential injury.

One of the most popular reasons for taking our kickboxing classes is that they are flat-out fun. With music playing and everyone around you working hard, sharing struggle and success, your workout will feel more enjoyable. If you are looking to add a little more pizazz to your workout, our kickboxing classes may be just what you need!

Oftentimes, working out by yourself can seem like, well, work. In our group kickboxing classes, you’ll be presented with the opportunity to make friendships with others taking the class. In weekly kickboxing classes, you will find that some of the same people are coming and going, especially when you make a routine out of it. This can make your workouts more enjoyable, making it feel like less of a chore and more like a fun activity you want to participate in.

When you sign up in advance for our kickboxing classes, you’ll feel more accountable to attend. If you are signed up and it’s on your schedule, there is a good chance you will not skip it. Not to mention, when you make friendships in the class that attend consistently, knowing that your friends are expecting you to attend will reduce the chances of you skipping a class.

These are just a few of the many reasons why our group kickboxing classes are perfect for the days when you are becoming tired of the same old and boring gym routine. At our kickboxing studio, it is our mission to provide a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for those who have become tired of their boring and repetitive workout routine and are interested in an alternative form of fitness that builds a healthy mind, body, and spirit.
